As part of their History learning, Year 3 pupils explored how early Britons lived during the Stone Age and Bronze Age periods. The children learned about daily life in these times, focusing on how people built shelters using the materials available to them.
Pupils researched different types of prehistoric homes and discussed how shelters changed over time. They then designed and created their own models using clay and straw, applying their understanding in a practical and creative way. The activity encouraged problem-solving, teamwork and creativity, and helped pupils to deepen their understanding of early British history through hands-on learning.
