At Reinwood Junior School all pupils are taught French through a range of speaking, listening, reading and writing tasks. We use a progressive scheme of work to deliver weekly French lessons. Children have french books to record their work which helps them with key vocabulary when they revisit a familiar topic.

Children are encouraged to gain a love of languages by joining in with songs and rhymes and writing for a range of purposes.

We compare both the French language and culture to our own to deepen the children's knowledge and understanding.
